Thank you for your interest in our Physical Therapy internship program at Resilience Physical Therapy and Wellness.  We are pleased to offer internship opportunities to both high school and undergrad students in addition to clinical rotation experiences for DPT students.

Why Intern at Resilience

Resilience Physical Therapy and Wellness is a private practice centered around orthopedics and sports rehabilitation. Our clinic utilizes the fundamental skills of Physical Therap along with innovative recovery modalities and training techniques designed to help our athletes return to optimal performance in a safe and efficient manner.

How to Apply:
For college and university Doctorate of Physical Therapy programs, students MUST apply through their program specific clinic coordinator. Due to high demand all potential DPT students are required to go through our application and interview process to ensure a proper fit.

DPT Clinical Overview
Objective: Each DPT Student will leave their internship with the ability to demonstrate knowledge and proficiency of RPTW methodology including philosophy and science, assessment and program design, and patient centered care.

This program also allows the opportunity for students to experience a progressive rehabilitation and sports performance training facility with 1-on-1 mentorship with a Doctorate level trained and licensed physical therapist. Our programmed learning schedule fosters the development of the DPT students through weekly learning objectives, journal reviews, in services and community outreach projects. Students gain exposure to evidenced based treatment methods including dry needling, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, manual therapy sport specific and functional based therapeutic exercise and activities. The students also have the opportunity to grow professionally through teaching undergraduate and high school interns.

To be considered, and in order to ensure each of our interns get the most complete clinical experience possible, the below documents must be submitted along with the mandatory inquiry request form.

 High School/Undergrad Porgram Overview

Undergrad students will have the opportunity to start contributing to a highly progressive sports medicine program. Throughout the experience interns will work with patients to learn and interact with the human body, essentially taking the next step in the careers of sports medicine and physical therapy.

Resilience PT and Wellness has been constantly growing our team since 2019 and, we firmly believe that the best way to foster competent and well-rounded clinicians along with building the future growth of the profession  is through a strong clinical experience.  We are dedicated to establishing strong relationships with our interns and their academic institutions.
