Dr. Daniel Griffin

Dr. Dan Griffin received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Springfield College. He founded Resilience Physical Therapy and Wellness in 2019 to bring a greater awareness to the many aspects of wellness and provide quality 1 on 1 physical therapy care in the area where the patients and their rehabilitation are the primary concern. Dan firmly believes in putting the patient first and truly values the uniqueness in every patient’s plan of care. Dan is active in the physical therapy community attending multiple conferences and continuing education courses every year. Dan’s relationship with the ownership and staff at N.E.X.T Fitness and CrossFit Catch allows for great communication toward a goal of creating healthier lives within the community.

Dan also enjoys helping people live better lives outside of the clinic via coaching. Dan works as a Health and Wellness Instructor for the Western Massachusetts Municipal Police Academy, is a CrossFit Level 3 Coach at CrossFit Catch, and is Precision Nutrition certified. Dan is a board member for the Tactical Athlete SIG,  and frequently gives lectures on Health and Wellness to law enforcement agencies around Massachusetts. Previous experience includes coaching strength and conditioning at Boston College, coaching nutrition remotely around the United States, and personal training and coaching CrossFit in the Boston area. Dan enjoys sharing his passion for fitness/wellness with his athletes, patients, coworkers, friends, and family alike. In his free time, Dan enjoys getting outside, reading and learning new things!

Devon Dessault

Dr. Devon graduated from American International College in 2021. Devon has a 10-year background in personal training and large group strength and conditioning coaching. He is a US Navy veteran and completed two deployments during my four years of active-duty service. Devon completed my bachelor’s degree at Goodwin University graduating with a double major in public safety/security and psychology. His hobbies include walking my three dogs with my wife, coaching fitness classes, and going to my local sportsmen’s association.

Justin Burchell

Justin completed his degree as a licensed massage therapist at Asnuntuck College in 2018 with a focus in sports massage. Justin’s passion for health and wellness began in the summer of 2015 when he started  CrossFit and living a healthier lifestyle. Justin later became a Level 1 certified trainer in 2016 and began coaching. With a keen interest in health, and functional fitness, recovering athletes became a top priority for Justin. Since then, Justin has combined his knowledge of functional fitness/ athletics with massage therapy in order to help aid in his clients recovery and promote physical longevity. Justin believes effective massage therapy is about experience, expertise, clear diagnosis and a genuine care to navigate recovery. Justin formerly started NEXT Recovery and is happy to be apart of the Resilience team. In addition to massage therapy, Justin is a CrossFit Level 2 trainer at CrossFit Catch and a competitive CrossFit athlete.

Hannah Goncalves
CF-L1, PN-L1

Hannah is currently a student enrolled in Springfield Technical Community College’s Physical Therapy Assistant program and works as Physical Therapy Aide. Throughout her years as a varsity sports player, Hannah accumulated a passion for health and fitness. After a collegiate volleyball career, Hannah found crossfit and became passionate about the lifestyle that ensued, including performance, nutrition and recovery. In 2019, she became a Level 1 certified trainer, but wanted to help people more than just in the gym. She became a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach and has since been helping clients not only perform their best, but feel better about their appearance and learn sustainable healthy habits. As a future physical therapy assistant, Hannah is eager to learn and share her knowledge to the community and is excited to be part of the Resilience team. In her free time, she enjoys getting outside, camping, traveling, appreciating the arts, spending time with friends and family and competing in CrossFit.

Ellen Lambert
PT Aide

Ellen is currently a junior at Westfield State University studying Chemistry. She will be entering a Doctoral Physical Therapy program in May 2020, aspiring to do what she loves. Through heavy involvement in sports in high school and the start of CrossFit in 2019, she decided she wants to play a role in assisting people in recovery, progress, and bettering themselves. Although soon to become a doctor of physical therapy, Ellen has a love for science, especially astrophysics. In her free time she enjoys hiking, water sports, and spending time with family.
